MMMmmmm Malabrigo

Sock!  I have 4 YUMMY skeins of this AWESOME stuff thanks to a VERY, VERY DEAR FRIEND!!!  Girl, you rock!!!

So here they are in all of their glory…

Careful, don’t drool on your keyboard.

Today was a great day.  I had the day off and got to hang out with a few of my favorite people.  Thanks girls!  I had a blast!  Hangin out at Wonderknit was a blast.  Can’t wait to do it again sometime soon.

Found in a Ravelry Forum

Below is something I found while reading in a forum for my local area.  Am I seeing this right?  Did someone just accuse someone of theft?  And in a public forum?

This is Joyce I’d just like to say that Wendy left us by mutual agreement, we thought on good terms. She was not let go. Wendy did remove inventory without our permission, and without documentation. There are some sales tax issues with that event that are challenging us. If Wendy has any complaints, we would love to discuss them with her, we aren’t aware of anything. Please come in, we’re open and have great people with tons of experience, ready and eager to help you!

Yum!!!

Ok, I must live under a rock or something…because I’ve never had Jeni”s Ice Cream.  Until today that is!  I had a salty carmel ice cream sandwich.  And without a doubt will be going in search of another soon.  I am so glad I opted to leave the office for lunch today.  As luck would have it, I went to lunch with a co-worker and he was going to the North Market so I rode along.  Once we got inside and wondered around for a few, around the next corner was Jeni’s.  I have always heard good things about the ice cream and had to have some.

So, if you’re like me and live under a rock…run, don’t walk to Jeni’s and sample all they have to offer.  YUM!

Almost…

Only counts in horse shoes and cigars….as my dad would always say.  But truely I am almost there!  Down two sizes in pants that is.  The “almost” means that I just need to lose a few more pounds to be completely comfortable in anything 2 sizes smaller than when I started working out in January.  I’m completely amazed!  Now if the styles at the stores would change, I would be even happier.  I’m not into all of the loud colors and slammed onto one piece of clothing and the horizontal stripes have got to go!  Guess I’ll keep looking around for casual clothing…sigh.

In knitting news…I have been slowly working on my mitered square blanket.  And also have been searching for another project to start on just to give my knitting some randomness.  Sad thing is…I just can’t figure out what I want to start on.  So here are a few things I’ve been tossing around for a while:

The Aeolian Shawl (free pattern)

The Balmoral (ravelry link) ( I have the book)

The B-Side Cardigan

The Bernhardt (already bought the pattern)

or the Uhura (already bought the pattern)

I’m pretty sure I have the yarn for almost all of the projects listed about.  Just might need to make sure for the Balmoral since it’s huge.

Oh, I almost forgot…I wanted to share with you a little bit of news.  I no longer work at Heavenly Creations.  With the not knowing of the shops future, and my girls busy schedules, I decided it was time to move on.  It was a blast while I was there.  Good luck little shop!

And this is for my friend Tonia…ITCHY WITCHY CATS A$$!!!  to whoever took her I-pod!!!

Let me know your vote about what my next project should be…
