So I’ve been busy….

SEWING!  Yep, I sew too.  That’s actually something I love to do, just haven’t in a while.  Especially since it’s summer and it’s not that transportable.  I’ve made many things.  Here are a few from back in the day….you know, before knitting.

Santa Claus

I made this full blown Santa suit from red velvet.  What an experience.

Giggles

When my girls were younger, we used to go all out for Halloween.  The scary music, strobe lights, fog machine, we would hook up a microphone that altered your voice through the speakers and this scary clown would come out and scare you.  We had a table with a huge bowl of candy….the good stuff, you know…chocolate!  And it was on a table with a table cloth on it and when you walked up to get candy from one of the people we had helping us, the leaf blower would blow the table cloth out and scare you too.  You definately earned your candy at our house.  LOL!  Great times!!!

Wonder Woman

And this is my sister.  She wanted to be wonder woman.  So in less than 2 hours behind the sewing machine (yes, I know…not much to the dang thing) this is what she got.

There are a few others I have made for my girls.  But I’ll have to dig those pics up and scan them in.  Little Red Riding Hood, Minnie Mouse, Poodle skirt…and probably a few others I just can’t recall at the moment.

But here is what I’ve been working on lately…

Project BagProject Bag (inside)Project Bag

That’s right, project bags.  I might look into my own little etsy shop.  Just depends on how people like them.  Let me know what you think.  Here’s another one…

Another Project BagInside shot

Perfect for the smaller, on the go projects.  See, Sheldon the turtle, his yarn, the pattern page and row counter all fit with plenty of room to spare.

Sorry for all the pics.  It’s been a while since I’ve had the camera out.  Well, I need to get to bed…I’m taking the girls school clothes shopping tomorrow.  YAY!
